If people aren't informed of this and haven't known, and are just now learning about it, that doesn't make it any less important to address the topic, inform readers, explore the implications, and ask for a redress of grievances.
On the personal level, I can agree, but at this point - we're just spitting into the wind. It's not going away. If everyone on the planet has this nano tech that you describe in their bodies, the only thing we are waiting for is someone to flip the switch.
